Terms of Use

Last updated: June 1, 2026

The Unemployment Advocate is a service of Tyler W. Brennan Law, LLC.

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the website of The Unemployment Advocate ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Use of the Website

You may use this website for lawful, personal purposes only. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in any unauthorized way.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship; Not Legal Advice

The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Your use of this website, your submission of information through it, and your interaction with our automated assistant, Eliza, do not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only upon a signed written engagement agreement between you and the firm. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until such a relationship has been established. See our Disclaimer for more information.

3. Services and Engagement

This website allows you to learn about and request our services. Any legal services we provide are governed by a separate written engagement (retainer) agreement, which controls the scope of representation, fees, and other terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and your engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.

4. Artificial Intelligence and Technology Tools

We use technology tools, including AI tools such as large language models, an AI-assisted scheduling tool, and attorney-built AI agents (including Eliza), to assist with screening, information gathering, scheduling, and the preparation of materials, as described in our Privacy Policy. These tools support, and do not replace, the professional judgment of a licensed attorney, and any automated output is not legal advice.

5. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is owned by or licensed to the firm and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the firm will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the firm regarding your use of the website.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time at our discretion. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
